The Scoop
Although the Sugar Cupcake Shoppe itself may be petite, the amount of flavor that comes out of it is anything but that. Baking fresh gourmet cupcakes every day, the Sugar Shoppe uses nothing but all natural ingredients in their cupcakes. They have a group of stand-by daily flavors, such as vanilla and chocolate cake with either vanilla or chocolate frosting, mocha and peanut butter cup; as well as specialty flavors, which are posted on their Facebook page every morning. In the past, special flavors have included Snickers, roasted banana, s’mores, strawberry shortcake, and coconut. The cupcakes are rich but not overly so and pack a lot of flavor in a small package. In short, they are perfect for an afternoon snack or post-lunch dessert.
What to be on the lookout for
This is going to be short and sweet (much like a cupcake). I would recommend getting any flavor. The ones that I tried were incredible, particularly the coconut and the carrot cake! Being that taste is subjective, I leave the choice up to you; in my experience, you can’t go wrong going to Sugar Cupcake Shoppe.
