Victor Normand is the former Broker/Owner of Acton Real Estate Company. He provides sales and marketing services specializing in residential new construction and has been a licensed broker for over 25 years. Victor has an extensive background in both commercial and residential real estate development and sales.
Prior to becoming the Broker at Acton Real Estate in 2008, he served as the Vice President for Community Development at MassDevelopment for ten years. In that capacity he was the project manager for the development of Phase I Housing under the Devens Reuse Plan, Red Tail Golf Club, the Bristol Myers Squibb Biologics manufacturing facility, as well as many of the other larger industrial/commercial developments within the Devens Regional Enterprise Zone.
His experience in residential development was gained as President of Normand Construction Management Company, a bonded general contractor working on residential and institutional public construction projects, as well as developing private single family homes and multi-family condominium projects in Lowell and the surrounding towns.
Victor has an MBA from The Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University and a BA in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts, at Amherst. He and his wife Jacqueline have lived in the town of Harvard for over 25 years. They have two grown daughters.
A dedicated volunteer, Victor currently serves as a Member of the Corporation at Fruitlands Museums, Chairman of the Personnel Board in Harvard, Chairman of the Devens Economic Analysis Team, and Member of the Town of Harvard Master Pann Steering Committee. He is also a past President of the Harvard Conservation Trust, and an original incorporator of the Harvard Municipal Affordable Housing Trust, where he served as its Chairman, and until recently served as President of the Harvard Trust Non-Profit Properties.
In addition to his real estate broker’s license, he is a licensed Construction Supervisor.
