My path to real estate is anything but traditional, and I think that’s what makes me genuinely useful to my clients. I studied architectural engineering at the Technical Institute of New Hampshire, and I spent years putting that education to work designing subdivisions and residential homes. That background gave me something most agents simply don’t have, the ability to walk through a property and actually understand what I’m looking at. Structural bones, layout efficiency, what’s cosmetic and what’s a real problem. I read blueprints the way most people read a newspaper, and that knowledge shows up every single day in the work I do for buyers and sellers.
The other thread running through my life has been horses. I’ve been around them since I was nine years old, bought my own barn around 25, and spent 28 years training performance show horses professionally. I’ve been recognized as UPHA Chapter 14 Trainer of the Year, I’ve had the privilege of judging horse shows, and I’ve built and managed breeding programs from the ground up. That world taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to earn trust, from a 1,200-pound animal and from people alike. You can’t fake your way with a horse, and I’ve carried that same commitment to integrity into everything I do in real estate. If you’re looking for equestrian property, I don’t just understand the real estate side of it. I understand the life you’re trying to build around it.
None of this is theoretical for me. In 1993 I purchased a barn and renovated it top to bottom myself. I’ve flipped investment property, subdivided and sold off parcels from 60 acres of land I own locally, and I designed and built my own home from the ground up. I’ve been buying, selling, and drafting long before I was ever a real estate agent. When I sit across the table from a client, I’m drawing on decades of real, personal experience and a straightforward commitment to doing right by the people I work with.
