To be clear, Lisa (Whitney) represented the seller. My son was the buyer. That being said, if it wasn't for Lisa's professionalism and attention to detail, this transaction would have been much more challenging. Lisa did a fantastic job in making sure that the seller addressed those issues brought up during inspection and provided a punch list of those items needing addressing and then had them completed. In all of the houses I've been involved in purchasing over the years, Lisa was by far the most competent broker (seller or buyer) I've ever had the pleasure of working with. You can be assured that she is in my Rolodex for any future real estate transactions in the area! She is a real asset to Barrett's.
Lisa was a professional from start to finish. She attended the closing. Our broker (representing we the buyer) wasn't even present! Clearly, Lisa made a positive impression on all of us as sellers.
I can't say enough about Lisa's performance. Our family kept commenting among ourselves as to how terrific she was throughout this transaction. She is a 10 out of 10!
Only dealt with other staff at Barrett's to drop off escrow checks, but found the staff to be highly personable and delightful to deal with.
As I said prior, Lisa is a stand-out broker. Probably the best we've ever dealt with over the years of house purchasing.

Throughout the buying and selling process Anne and her team were attentive to detail and respectful of each individual decision and situation. If we had any questions they were considerately answered and in a timely manner. We never had any issues in communication with Anne and her team and if something needed to be done we could count on Anne and her team to complete it. Overall, I would recommend Barrett Sotheby's and Anne's team to anyone who is considering buying in the area.

I loved working with Diane Cadogan Hughes as our realtor. Her knowledge of the local market and then her connections with local business people was excellent, and she supported her recommendations with reasons of why she felt a certain way and also explained how she came up with her recommendations. She paid attention to the overall process of our complicated sale and tracked the details as well. I have found that the details can often derail things but she stayed on top of them. She also showed integrity and a straightforwardness that was refreshing as well as a positive attitude throughout a long and complicated process. I wholeheartedly would love to work with her again and highly recommend her!

Anne Spry was an excellent partner to our family as we navigated a move across country and into Massachusetts. She knows the greater Boston area well and was able to objectively advise on the local areas. Anne listened to us our needs and provided facts without location bias. Once we found our home, she worked quickly to get us the best price (through multiple rounds of negotiations and home inspection). Even after closed, she is still available to support us. Great buying experience!
