April Vacation: 5 Destinations for 5 Days of Local Fun

Kids in a ParkSchool’s out next week for April Vacation, and while it feels like we might be turning a corner with the pandemic, we still need to exercise caution with our travel plans. That shouldn’t mean you miss out on the fun though! We’ve come up with 5 fun places to visit in our local towns - one for each day of the week - so check out our list and consider your vacation plans taken care of!

Monday - Visit the scene of the First Battle of the American Revolution, Minute Man National Historical Park, Concord

Tuesday - Join the Revolutionary Scavenger Hunt, Lexington (April 20th only)

Wednesday - Help build a Tinytropolis at Discovery Museum, Acton

Thursday -  Experience life on a working farm at Drumlin Farm, Lincoln

Friday - Come face-to-face with dinosaurs at the T-Rex Adventure, Stone Zoo, Stoneham

Like all local businesses, these organizations have been working tirelessly this past year to keep their patrons safe and still offer an enjoyable experience for visitors. Please consider supporting them by paying them a visit this vacation week and beyond.

Advance booking is required for some events. Please observe the Covid-19 regulations in place at each location - check their websites to find out more.
