Halloween Happenings in Your Town

Halloween is just around the corner and we can’t wait! It’s one of the most fun times of the year, and there is no shortage of ways to celebrate. Our realtors know all the best events in the local area, so whether you are looking for a trick-or-treat experience, or something a little more cultural, check our list for some spooky fun in a town near you.

ActonTrunk or Treat (Sunday October 30th). This free family event will take place at Mt Calvary in Acton from 3pm – 4:30pm – families can visit the decorated cars and receive treats or a non-food item. Costumes encouraged!

 

Bedford - Annual Trunk or Treat (Friday October 28th). Local businesses will be at the Whole Foods parking lot from 3pm with treats for costumed kiddos - say hi to the Barrett Sotheby’s International Realty team and their barnyard-themed trunk!

 

Billerica Trunk or Treat at Shawsheen (Sunday October 23rd). Shawsheen Tech will host its 3rd annual Trunk or Treat from 2pm – 5pm. Open to all – admission is $5. This event will happen rain or shine (they have tents to keep everyone dry!)

 

Burlington - Halloween at Wayside (Friday October 28th). Wayside Shopping Center is hosting this fun event with a DJ, costume parade, photo booth, face painting, balloon art and more! Wayside are partnering with People Helping People for this event – please consider bringing an item from this list to donate.

 

Carlisle - Halloween Trick-or-Treating (Monday October 31st). Join the trick or treating fun in the town center from 4pm.

Concord - Annual Trunk or Treat (Sunday October 30th). Head to the Beede Ctr Parking Lot from 2pm – 3:30pm with the family for a fun event - register ahead of time if you are planning to host a trunk.

 

Lexington Trunk or Treat at Highrock (Saturday October 22nd). A fun event for the whole family, visit the decorated cars for treats plus games and photo opportunities!

Downtown Trick or Treat (Monday October 31st). Get your costume on and stop into local businesses (including Barrett Sotheby’s International Realty) between 2-5pm for trick or treating fun.

 

Lincoln - Halloween at deCordova (Friday October 21st). Experience the sculptures by moonlight - costumes encouraged! A special Halloween program featuring hands-on sculpture-building activities, self-guided mysteries to solve and a sweet treat or two.

Halloween Open House at Hartwell Tavern (Saturday October 29th). Walk down a path lined with jack-o-lanterns to trick or treat at the tavern, and chat to rangers about how people in Colonial New England protected themselves from evil spirits and witches.

 

Littleton Trunk or Treat and Halloween Parade (Friday October 28th). This fun family event include a costume parade, trunk or treat and a family movie, all at Alumni Field parking lot.

 

 

Melrose - Trick or Treat at Melrose Businesses (Monday October 31st). Downtown stores and businesses will be handing out treats to younger residents (Grade 3 and below).

 

Stoneham - 12th Annual Halloween Stroll (Saturday October 29th). Everyone is welcome to trick-or-treat at local businesses in downtown Stoneham then head to the town common for pumpkin decorating, festive crafts, activities and more!

 

WestfordRoudenbush Annual Halloween Parade (Sunday October 30th). Come in costume and join the fun from 11am – 1pm. The event is free but please register if you intend to go. Followed by the annual Carve for Carson Fundraiser – tickets online or on the door.

 

WinchesterFAN and Win Rec's Halloween Bash (Saturday October 29th).  This popular event is back for 2022! Beginning at 9:45am, bring your costumed kiddos for the parade and trick or treating downtown, then continue the fun with Trunk or Treat at the Jenks Center Parking Lot with live music from Matt Heaton (tickets required for Trunk or Treat)

 

Woburn - Host Lions Halloween Parade (Sunday October 30th). One of the largest parades in New England, dress up and line the parade route from Showcase Cinema to Horn Pond and cheer on the floats and marching bands as they raise funds for the Mass Lions Eye Research Fund. This year’s theme is “Your Favorite Book”.
