One of the best things about spring in New England is the chance to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather, and there are some local fairs and festivals coming up that give you the opportunity to do just that! Across the Patriot's Trail region there are a host of events during May and June with carnival rides, craft stalls, touch-a-truck, book sales and more - all supporting local businesses and organizations. So if you want to support your local community, check out our list and get involved - fun times guaranteed!
May 10th -14th: Apple Blossom Festival, Westford. Hosted by the Westford Kiwanis, there will be carnival rides running Wednesday thru Sunday, with a parade and fireworks on Saturday May 13th (rain date May 12th), and a helicopter golf ball drop on Sunday.
May 13th: West Acton Village Spring Fling Festival. Look out for us at the water table during the 5k fun run, then join the West Acton Village merchants for food, sidewalk sales, music, touch-a-truck and a scavenger hunt.
May 19th – 20th: En Ka Fair, Winchester. Enjoy rides, food and a huge book fair from Friday evening and all day Saturday. There’s also a parade on Saturday morning.
May 20th :Bedford Plant and Craft Fair. Back after a 3 year hiatus, this free event includes food vendors, a petting zoo and kids activities alongside the plants and crafts.
May 25th:Prom Stroll, Bedford. Join Barrett Sotheby’s International Realty in congratulating the class of 2023 as they head to their prom!
May 27th : Discovery Day, Lexington. Kick off Memorial Day weekend with a street fair along Mass Ave! Local businesses will have booths with giveaways and prizes, plus food and entertainment for the whole family.
June 3rd : Winchester Town Day. Another street fair with local businesses providing games, entertainment and shopping for visitors. New for this year - a pop-up Biergarten from 3-6pm at the Griffin Museum. The event rounds off with an evening firework display.
June 3rd : Stow Street Block Party, Concord. An event for the whole community, including Touch a Truck, music, food, and games.
June 17th: 55th Annual Fifer’s Day, Boxborough. This family festival starts with a road race, followed by a parade and other attractions including bouncy castles, music, volleyball, craft and stalls.
